Gordon (Johnno) Johnstone

Johnno passed away tonight at 23.00 after a Five year battle with Leukemia.
Johnno joined in 1963, and did 22yrs. He served in 3 para, (B & D Coy,) 16 Para brigade defence platoon, 1 Para (as the C.O Lt Col Brierlys Driver) and 5 yrs at Newcastle recruiting office.

Nick I would have placed the article about Johnno in the memorium section but It is a read only section, unless your a web master or one of the bods that looks after the site.

I have just had a look at the In Memorium site and without wishing to be pedantic, I think you will find that Mick McMahon's name is spelt wrong.

Bernie,
No problem at all, as you know I was in Patrol Company with Mick in the 70's and I remember that he used to get brassed off when people spelt it wrong.
