Fifty years ago in May 1959, 165 Pl passed out at Maida Bks Aldershot. The majority of the blokes went to 2 Para and were posted to Cyprus however some of us were really lucky and went across the road to 3 Para at Corunna Bks. I'm still alive and kicking albeit living in Oz. where are the rest of the guys ???

Joined Jan '59 168 Platoon completed 28 years, on passing out went straight into SP Coy Anti-Tanks(i dont know why that was, some sort of trial maybe) First Pln Sgt was good old "Pompey" Norman BEM.It's good to see the Forum starting to be used.
