Bill, I wasn't in "C" Coy on the Norway Ex. I was still in Spt Coy. In fact I went to Norway with Sid Roberts on the advance party for the A/tks. I managed to take a slice out of my thumb with an axe preparing kindling for the stoves which were the centre tent pole for those sexy tents at Trondheim, Tug will confirm this. It was my first time abroad apart from going to England from Scotland.

Hi Nick,

Loved Norway & Trondheim I am trying to take the motor home on a trip Maureen said she would like to go to The North Cape but that is a B****y long way. Great in those tents I seem to remember especially once you got that stove burning. 3 Para shooting teams in the sixties Icon_biggrin 3 Para shooting teams in the sixties Icon_biggrin 3 Para shooting teams in the sixties Icon_biggrin
