Three more names for this picture:- Behind Capt McKay (Paddy) Malachy O'Neill, behind Malachy Thor Caithness, third rank on the right (Taff) Hadyn Lewis. Have been trying to make contact with Malachy O'Neill for forty years. His family have not heard from him for over thirty years. He was demobbed from Paras then enlisted in RAF Regiment.

Thinking back, was it Sydney or was it Brisbane where that Parade took place? most of the time we were in Brisbane or up in the "uloo" at Rockhampton(remember the fire and the bloody Termites not to mention Snakes).

Two more possible names:- Geordie Bickle two behind Pete Garraghty and Bob Mickleburgh fourth rank on the right behind Taff Lewis. There seems to be quite a few 'B' Company personnel in these ranks. I missed Australia, Geoff Stead sent me to Warminster instead on a Clerks course to learn how to touch type. I passed the course, so many words a minute. I returned to Normandy Bks and found I could type faster with two fingers with less mistakes. I still use this method today but have progressed to three fingers. By all accounts I missed a good trip to Aus.

Tug, this photo is Sydney, most of the Battalion took part in the march in Brisbane but a small contingent went down to Sydney.

As usual your memory is better than mine,i believe you are correct,to confirm he was the IO who was shot down with "Farrar" on the Radfan Op and was wounded in the hand/arm.
