If you knew all of these four guys then I will know you!!

It looks very much like a Twynam in the background so i would say it's Hamala Camp Bahrain,but i don't recognise the lads though,doe's that mean you maybe know me just a little bit?

I will only know you a little bit Tug if you know at least one of the guys! Well done on the Twynam and Hamala Camp, who could forget the luxury of air conditioning out there. I'm almost sure you will know at least one of the guys but I will give all their names at a later date just to see if anybody knows them all. Two clues that may help are:- all 'B' Coy 3 Para personnel and the date 1964.

I might know the names when you say them,but i can't put any names to the faces the old grey cells seem AWOL,I was a Sgt in A Coy at that time.

Ten out of Ten Alex for Butch Bruton MM. The occasion Christmas festivities where 'B' Coy were allowed to decorate a Land Rover as a float and wear fancy dress. These characters were fooling around with the wigs. From left to right :- Tex O'Conner, Ian Weatherall, Chris Grover and Butch Bruton MM (Deceased). I was a Bn sprog just arrived from Depot then,I knew a few of the lads in Bn from my home town,Big Fred,Mossie Ferrie,and Mick Ross who got hit by shrapnel

Only knew Big Fred McFarlane from a distance after he got pissed in Hamala Camp and threw a rock over canteen dropping me in the nosh queue prior to Ex "Sandstone". Never did get to thank him for putting me on rear party. Medical Corperal must have been drinking with him as he was in the same state but he made a fine job with the needle and thread on me bonce!!

I recognised Butch and Chris,
Poor chris was often used in instructions for voice procedure " Send Cpl Grover, To Dover, In a Rover, To pick up the CO's Pullover. Over"

I think this is Cyprus 1961 front 4 L to R are Ginge Chilton (RIP), Arthur Hughes, Benny Benson and Mac McKenzie, all B Coy. Some others I recognise but thier names escape me.

Don't recognise anyone ( I was MMG Pl then) but Tom Dooley must know them. He was still in the Battalion then, before he went to the Freefall Team.
Played golfm with Tom last week, still living in Crookham. When I see him next I'll direct him to the Club website.
